1 - Lincoln Heritage Website Registration & Content
Below is a step by step guide, so that you can not only enter the Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company website and create your online agent account but, we will also show you some of the most important and useful features on the website.
Go to the Lincoln Heritage website, www.lhlic.com If you are a Spanish speaking agent, you can click on “Español” in the upper right corner.
Click on or put your mouse over “Customer Service”. On the drop down menu, click on the last option, “Lincoln Heritage Agent Login”.
Click on "Register for Website".
Enter the required information in the fields (Agent Number, Agent’s Last Name, Last Four Digits of SSN/Federal Tax ID. Decide on your username and password/password confirmation. Then, click the green “Register” button.
You will be redirected to the “Anti-Money Laundering” training page. You must complete the 3 lessons and pass the final quiz. This step is mandatory to gain access to the system and begin submitting applications with Lincoln Heritage. This takes about 30 minutes to complete the lessons and the test.
Now, you have full access to your agent portal. Across the top you’ll find different menu options: Admin, Agency, Contest, FAQ's, FCGS, Forms, Leads, Reports and Underwriting. We strongly recommend you go familiarize yourself with each one; you will find a lot of different helpful tools.
“Admin” option will allow you to manager your username and password. Under “Agency” you will find options like Group Insurance (agents and family qualifications for health insurance), Marketing Materials, Supplies (including business cards, apparel, promo items, banners door hangers, etc). One important option to consider, is the Website Program inside Marketing, this will allow you to build your own website within the Company's Website. In Corporate Discounts you will find the chance to generate and print the UPS shipping level (with discount price for the overnight service) to mail out your paper contracts, if necessary.
Under “Contest”, you will find the current contest qualification guidelines and the company’s monthly newsletter. The “FAQ's” option, will answer most, if not all, important questions regarding New Business, Underwriting, Advances, Commissions and Leads. Under “FCGS” (Funeral Consumer Guardian Society), you view different video testimonials from past and existing clients as well as the FCGS forms in English and Spanish
You will find Agent Forms options (this will provide: Business Card Order forms, Credit Card Authorization, Direct Deposit Authorization, and more) along with, the Customer Service and Policy forms by State. Most importantly, in this section, you are able to upload files in different formats to submit New Business, or requested forms for the Underwriting and Service Departments.
In this section, you have all the tools necessary to manage your leads in ‘My Leads’ (the instructions will be there as well). You will find your production numbers in ‘Agent Statistics’, the ‘Marketing Files’ and the ‘Pre-Approach Letters’ are useful for your clients.
"Reports", will show you the Commissions (Commission Statements, learn how to read a Commission Statement and the Advance Guidelines). Also under "Reports", you will have the Requested Docs option (here you have all the copies you’ve requested from the company, from your clients - applications, service forms, etc). In Underwriting, you can see all of your underwriting memos concerning any applications you have submitted, along with the option to upload the corrected documentation.
